Best matcha in the city, no exaggeration! I try matchas everywhere I go, and No stress uses good quality organic matcha, consistently steamed to perfection and is reasonably priced. The owner is very kind, her mom bakes croissants fresh all day every day, and the baristas are happy :) there is limited seating and no bathroom, so not the best for doing work but I promise they have the best quality matcha and pastries you will find in the city.

Hands down the best coffee shop in LIC. Moreover, they arguably have the best almond croissant in all of NYC. They make their pastries fresh as well, so no complaints. The only downside is they sell out quickly, so it’s worth getting there early. Excellent quality, and even better value. The coffee shop smells amazing, even up to a block away, you can smell the delicious ingredients used in the pastries and the coffee roasting.

An absolute gem in Long Island City. I’m upset it’s only the first time I’ve visited No Stress, on a day where I carry so much stress. Always busy, the inside is quaint and the barista takes their time. The pastry selection is great; I settled on an olive oil Bundt cake and it blew away all of my expectations, I’m dying to go back for it. I was truly blown away by the flavor of their coffee. I ordered a small vanilla maple latte with regular milk and it was superb. The total came to $9.50 and was worth every penny. You will pay this price anywhere in the area. I cannot wait to rerun! Thank you No Stress for picking me up this afternoon!

This charming little coffee shop has great coffee prices. They have pastries made in-house. They have a simple menu, but they also carry pistachio milk as an option. I had a travel mug within which the barista made my drink; he even made some latte art. Not a large place to hang out in, but definitely a stop one should make if one is in the area.

A staple neighborhood coffee spot for sure. Menu is very straight forward and the workers are very nice. Enjoyed their latte and their artwork that you can inquire about buying.

This small coffee spot is absolutely amazing. They always serve such beautiful and delicious coffee, and the pastries they make are so tasty. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy treat with a great cup of coffee and a delicious baked good. And here’s a little acrostic in honor of DoYun, the wonderful barista: D – Devoted to every detail, putting care and focus into all she does. O – Outstanding energy that brightens not just the room, but the whole coffee place. Y – You can feel the warmth she puts into every coffee. U – Unique presence, calm and welcoming. N – Naturally kind, making every drink better. ❤️

Blue bottle coffee on 5th ave is on top of my tier list of Latte. Its expensive tho. This place is up there on my list now. Cute hidden place, $4.75 for latte decent froth and great blend of expresso to milk ratio

My all time favorite coffee shop in LIC. The owner Ms. Do is the sweetest coffee shop owner I've met in NYC. She and her team take meticulous care of the drinks and food in this shop. My usual go-to's are flat white and matcha latte. The almond croissant (Ms. Do's mom's recipe) is one of the best almond croissants I've had in the city. This is a place where neighbors go regularly and start to foster a sense of community. Also they are dog friendly and have excellent dog treats.

My favorite coffee shop in the area. Coffee and pastries are both great. In contrast to all the other coffee shops, they bake pastries onsite. This makes the pastries sooo much better and fresher. Also it creates a lovely smell in the place. I recommend coming during the week, when it is not as full. Also I appreciate that they have a non sweetened milk option with their pistachio milk. I always really dislike it when everything needs to be so sweet and unhealthy.

This café feels like a scene from a movie. The staff greet you with a warmth that feels like meeting an old friend, making the space instantly welcoming and comfortable. Artwork by local artists is displayed throughout the café, adding depth and character, and creating an atmosphere that goes beyond coffee—one filled with thoughtful, almost literary charm. The house-baked croissants are absolutely delicious, and the matcha, perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, was a joy to drink until the last sip. A place I would gladly recommend to anyone who enjoys savoring not just coffee, but the space itself.
